Fulcrum takes delivery of new 32A and 63A 3phase ditribution units to add to stock to service it's core client base for ongoing events.

We have recently invested in new UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) units, the Zigor UPS RHIN 3 KVA rack mount is the latest addition. The UPS's are an important part of our power equipment, particularly to protect the installation against any outage or power spikes, providing continuity and keeping systems running until the secondary supply is brought online.  

 

 

Many congratulations to David Atkinson of David Atkinson Lighting Design (DALD) who has won the Lighting Designer of The Year Award at the 2011 Lighting Design Awards (LDAs) for his consistently groundbreaking and varied architectural schemes.  We have enjoyed a warm friendship and working relationship with David over the years and we're thrilled that he has been recognised in this way.

With the forthcoming Papal Visit just around the corner we have been looking for the best low energy solutions for lighting large areas 'backstage' using minimal power. We have invested in a number of MBI's and other low energy fittings which should reduce the power consumption considerably, something that has to be at the forefront of design these days.

Tech Ed Europe 2010 is coming to a close today, this has been another great event for Microsoft with exhibitors and sponsors agreeing it has been a real success.  As the 5000+ delegates begin to leave the Berlin Messe it's time for the Fulcrum team to start packing up, let the cable coiling begin... we could be here for some time!

Congratulations to Aggreko on being appointed by The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) as the exclusive supplier of temporary energy services for London 2012.  Aggreko will provide power across 39 venues in 7 different locations – London, Cardiff, Coventry, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Weymouth. The power will be provided by generators located at each venue distributed through over 1,000 kilometres of cable and 3,500 distribution panels. Exciting times ahead!
